Tikipunga High School is seeking an experienced, relational and culturally responsive educational leader to join our Senior Leadership Team.
We are looking for a leader who brings high expectations, sound judgement and a strong commitment to ākonga success. The successful applicant will be a collaborative team player who can build the capability of others, lead change effectively and contribute positively to the culture and strategic direction of our kura.
This is a significant school-wide leadership position. As a member of the Senior Leadership Team, the Assistant Principal will share responsibility for leading and supporting key portfolios aligned with our strategic priorities:
Applicants should have proven leadership experience and the ability to lead people, systems and improvement. Strengths may include curriculum and pedagogy, pastoral and behaviour leadership, strategic planning, data and evaluation, staff development, literacy and numeracy, cultural responsiveness, or other areas of school-wide leadership.
Specific duties and portfolios will be negotiated based on the strengths, experience and aspirations of the successful applicant and the needs of the kura.
