Job summary

Mokoia Intermediate in Rotorua, North Island, seeks a visible, relational and future-focused principal to inspire ākonga, staff, whānau and our wider community toward an exciting future.

The successful applicant will lead teaching and learning with warmth and integrity, strengthen partnerships with marae and local communities, and champion an inclusive curriculum that raises achievement and wellbeing for Years 1–8.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a primary/intermediate school or kura.
• Ability to build strong relationships with students, staff, whānau and the community.
• Proven commitment to culturally responsive practice and ako.

Primary and intermediate (Years 1–8) / kura tuatahi, Principal

Mokoia Intermediate is seeking a visible, relational and future-focused principal to build on our considerable strengths and inspire ākonga, staff, whānau and our wider community towards an exciting future.

We are looking for an educational leader who is present, approachable and actively involved in the life of our kura. Our principal will know our ākonga and staff, be visible in classrooms and across school activities, and lead with warmth, integrity, courage and a genuine sense of humour.
