Job summary

Fonterra Leeston Farm Source is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to lead the team, deliver outstanding customer service and drive store performance. You'll lead from the front, support day-to-day operations, sales and Health and Safety while fostering a positive, collaborative environment where the team can excel.

Availability for Saturday mornings is required. You will work closely with the Store Manager in a busy retail setting, developing people, maintaining store standards and building

Qualifications

• Customer service or retail experience is required.
• Leadership or people management experience, either formal or informal.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• An understanding of dairy, farming or agriculture is helpful, but not essential.
• The ability to motivate and support others.
• Physical fitness and the ability to regularly lift product.
• Availability to work Saturday mornings (9am-12pm) on a rotating roster.

We're looking for someone with a strong customer focus, a positive can-do attitude and the confidence to step up and lead. You’ll enjoy working in a busy, hands-on environment and be comfortable juggling priorities and pitching in where needed.
