Job summary

Hallensteins in Auckland, NZ is seeking an energetic Assistant Manager to back the Store Manager, drive sales, and lead a high-performing team. You’ll own daily operations, coach staff, and ensure exceptional customer experiences while delivering results in a fast-paced fashion retail environment.

Successful candidates will have retail leadership experience, be confident running shifts across weekends, and motivate crew to meet targets.

Are you a motivated individual with a flair for retail management? Hallensteins is searching for an energetic and driven Assistant Manager who’s ready to back the team, own results, and bring big energy every day.

Job Type: Full-time. Sunday to Thursday

About the Role

As our Assistant Manager, you’ll work side by side with the Store Manager to drive the business. You’ll be leading from the front, making sure the store performs, the team stays sharp, and every customer walks out looking and feeling good.

In this role, you’ll:

• Run the floor and drive a strong sales culture
• Support with rosters, targets, and daily operations
• Train, coach, and lift the team every shift
• Keep the store looking slick and stock under control
• Be the calm head and decision maker when things get busy

About You

You’ve already got some leadership under your belt and you're ready for more. You’re results-driven, love working with people, and know how to bring the best out of a team.
