Burnside High School is seeking an experienced and inspiring teacher to take up the role of assistant head of faculty science with responsibility for biology. This is a full-time, permanent position carrying 2 Management Units and 1 Middle Management Allowance, reporting to the Head of Faculty Science.
The successful applicant will assume leadership of the Year 12 and 13 Biology programmes, ensuring a high standard of teaching and curriculum delivery, and will assist the head of faculty in the leadership and administration of Biology across the school. You will support and mentor colleagues – including provisionally registered teachers – and contribute to the professional growth and shared sense of purpose within the biology and science team.
