Secondary (Years 7–15) / wharekura, Certificated teacher Science

We seek a collaborative and passionate teacher of s cience and senior biology to join our science faculty.

Applicants should have a current New Zealand teacher registration and a current work permit or equivalent.

The successful candidate will have:

• the ability to inspire and challenge students across the curriculum from Year 9 through to Year 13
• the ability to teach senior biology
• a clear understanding of NCEA and the New Zealand curriculum
• experience in differentiated teaching at the junior and senior levels
• ability to work collaboratively and use reflective practice to raise student achievement
• k nowledge of the principles of Te Tiriti o Waitangi and ensure te reo me ōna Tikanga are upheld
• relational practices to tautoko positive, mana-enhancing relationships within our kura.

A commitment to mana ōrite mō te mātauranga māori, and cultural responsiveness is also essential.
