Job summary

Diocesan School for Girls in Auckland (Epsom) invites applications for a full-time Biology/General Science teacher within our Science Faculty, commencing Term 1, 2027. The role covers Years 7–13 with dual NCEA and IB pathways available to students.

We seek a passionate educator who enjoys teaching young women, with confidence across senior Biology duties; IB experience is desirable but training will be provided, and a collaborative, high-trust team environment is offered.

Qualifications

• Teach Biology at all levels from Year 11 to Year 13, and general science at Junior High School (Years 7–10)
• Full-time, permanent role within our Science Faculty, starting Term 1, 2027
• Work with motivated, engaged students who have access to a dual NCEA and International Baccalaureate pathway
• A passion for teaching young women

• Deliver Biology at senior levels (Year 11–13) and General Science at Years 7–10
• Contribute to the Science Faculty and school community
