Job summary

Hynds Pipe Systems Limited is seeking an Assistant Branch Manager to support the Christchurch branch and act as the Branch Manager’s right-hand. You’ll help keep the branch running smoothly, look after customers, and support a great team. This is a chance to grow your leadership skills in a proudly Kiwi, family-owned business.

Qualifications

• Customer-facing experience with a bias for leadership preferred.
• Ability to coach and develop team members on the job.
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.

Responsibilities

• Back the branch manager’s day-to-day and step in when they’re away.
• Coach and train the team to deliver high-quality service.
• Look after customers and find the right solutions.
• Help the branch hit targets and spot new sales opportunities.
• Keep Safety as a priority and follow the Hynds way.

You'll help keep the branch running smoothly, look after our customers, and support a great team. What You'll Be Doing

• Backing the branch manager’s day-to-day and stepping up when they're away
• Helping the team shine through coaching and on-the-job training
• Looking after customers and finding them the right solutions
• Helping the branch hit its targets and spot new sales opportunities
• Having Safety as a priority at all times and doing things the Hynds way

What You'll Bring

• Customer service experience, ideally with some team leading
• A can-do attitude and a head for business
• Calm, organised and good with detail
• Confident with Outlook and Excel (M3 a bonus)
• Class 1 licence with F endorsement
