Job summary

Watercare Services Limited is seeking an Asset Protection Engineer to oversee region-wide management of the water and wastewater network and transmission assets, including field inspections and approvals for external work on the Watercare Network.

Day-to-day duties include responding to customer requests, coordinating with developers and contractors, and developing efficient processes, with direct collaboration with project stakeholders to enhance safety and data integrity.

Qualifications

• Experience in contract management and customer relationships.
• Background in water or wastewater operations is not essential.
• Experience with coordinating with developers and contractors is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Respond to customer requests for works across the network.
• Improve responsiveness to customer approvals.
• Liaise and coordinate with developers and contractors.
• Develop efficient and agile processes for asset management.
• Work directly with developers and contractors on projects.
