Job summary

4AG is seeking an Assembly Technician for a six-month fixed-term role. You will join a workshop team to assemble high quality agricultural machinery, unloading, preparing and assembling equipment while following precise instructions to ensure quality standards are met.

Working knowledge of agricultural machinery and a proactive, can-do attitude are valuable. The role runs from 7am to 5pm, Monday to Friday, with hourly pay between $30 and $35.

Qualifications

• Experience in auto mechanical, machinery maintenance or assembly is useful.
• Working knowledge of agricultural machinery is a plus.
• A can-do attitude and ability to thrive in a busy, team-based environment.

Our business is growing and we are looking for an Assembly Technician on a six month fixed term basis. Our forward orders are very strong and this role may extend up to 12 months.

About the Role

Reporting to the Workshop Manager, you will be assembling high quality agricultural machinery:

• Work in a team to unload, prepare and assemble a variety of equipment
• Follow instructions closely to ensure accuracy and quality standards are met
• Use a range of hand held tools and bench mounted equipment
• Operate power tools with care and safety in mind
• Report on issues and unexpected problems affecting assembly and deadlines

About You

Experience in auto mechanical, machinery maintenance, assembly or similar work will be very useful in this role. Working knowledge of agricultural machinery will also be a head start.

A can do attitude is most important and you should enjoy a busy, team focused environment where everyone helps each other to get the job done.

This role will pay an hourly rate between $30 and $35 and working hours are 7am to 5pm, Monday to Friday.
