Job summary

dormakaba is seeking an Assembly Operator in Auckland to support both Production and Warehouse duties. You will perform assemblies for Automatic Sliding Door Operators, maintain quality, and visually inspect products.

You will report breakdowns and defects and keep work areas clean and safe. The role emphasizes following established procedures, planning daily workloads, collaborating with colleagues, and prioritising tasks as production needs evolve.

Responsibilities

• Perform assembly operations for Automatic Sliding Door Operators according to production plans
• Ensure product quality is maintained at all times by adhering to systems and procedures
• Perform visual inspection of the products
• Report to supervisor on breakdowns and defects
• Manage assigned work in a safe manner
• Responsible for housekeeping of machines and work area
