Job summary

dormakaba is seeking an experienced Assembly Operator in Auckland to support production and warehouse tasks. You will perform assembly operations for Automatic Sliding Door Operators, ensure quality through established procedures, and report any breakdowns. The role emphasizes safe work practices, housekeeping, and coordination with teammates.

Exposure to warehouse or assembly environments is preferred. A valid EST licence and forklift certification are highly desirable to advance in a global

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Assembly Operator to provide support in both Production and Warehouse duties to ensure a high standard of quality and to meet daily production targets.

What you will do

• Perform assembly operations for Automatic Sliding Door Operators according to production plans
• Ensure product quality is maintained at all times by adhering to systems and procedures
• Perform visual inspection of the products
• Report to supervisor on breakdowns and defects
• Manage assigned work in a safe manner
• Responsible for housekeeping of machines and work area

What we require

• Work within established systems and procedures.
• Ability to plan workload and daily routines.
• Work with others to resolve production problems that may arise
• Adaptable to prioritize workload
• Interface with internal stakeholders/departments

What we prefer

• Exposure to warehouse or assembly environments
• Electrical Service Technician (EST) Licence (highly desirable)
• Forklift licence and experience operating a forklift (highly desirable)
