Job summary

Country Lane Group Limited is seeking a hands-on bakery production specialist to bake desserts, breads and pastries for the soon-to-open venue The Residence and for Canterbury contracts. You will be part of a team dedicated to creating slices, pastries and desserts that showcase flavour and presentation.

You will work 4:00am–12:00pm, Tuesday to Saturday, with no nights or split shifts, while contributing to product development and maintaining high food-safety standards across all cabinets and

Qualifications

• Proven experience in bread, pastry and bakery production, whether commercial or artisan.
• Strong pastry and dough skills with an understanding of consistent production.
• Creativity and flair for developing both classic favourites and exciting new products.

Responsibilities

• Produce exceptional desserts, pastries, cakes and sweet creations
• Create artisan breads and beautiful pastries
• Develop creative desserts for weddings and functions
• Create danishes, scrolls, slices, cakes, tarts, sweet treats, cabinet creations and seasonal specials
• Experiment with flavours, textures and presentation
• Develop new products and put creative input into product development
• Maintain high standards around food safety, cleanliness and consistency
• Work independently while being part of a wider team
