Job summary

The Warehouse Group is seeking an Area Delivery Hub Coordinator for our Otago Delivery Hub. You will be on the floor, coordinating deliveries, installations, stock movement and daily workflows to keep operations running smoothly.

Working with the Area Delivery Manager and a range of internal and external stakeholders, you will plan workloads, monitor performance and coach hub teams to deliver exceptional customer outcomes.

Qualifications

• Experience in leadership or supervisory roles.
• Experience in logistics, warehousing, or retail operations.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage priorities.
• Experience coordinating teams and delivery activities.
• Proactive approach to problem solving and decision making.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
• Experience maintaining operational, inventory or customer records.
• NZ Driver Licence.

We're looking for an Area Delivery Hub Coordinator to support the day-to-day operation of our Otago Delivery Hub. This is a hands-on leadership role where you'll coordinate people, stock, deliveries and resources to ensure we deliver a great experience for our customers every day.

Job Description

As our Area Delivery Hub Coordinator, you'll be responsible for supporting the daily operation of the Otago Delivery Hub and coordinating the activities that keep deliveries, installations and stock movement running successfully.

Working closely with the Area Delivery Manager, Installation Specialists and a range of internal and external stakeholders, you'll help plan workloads, coordinate delivery activity, manage inventory accuracy and support team performance across the hub.

This role combines operational coordination with people leadership and is ideal for someone who enjoys being visible on the floor, supporting their team, solving challenges and driving great customer outcomes.

Some of your responsibilities will include:

• Coordinating daily delivery and installation schedules
• Supporting and coaching Installation Specialists and hub team members
• Managing stock movement, inventory accuracy and dispatch activities
• Monitoring delivery performance and resolving operational issues
• Coordinating fleet readiness, vehicle compliance and equipment availability
• Maintaining accurate operational records and reporting
• Supporting recruitment, onboarding and team capability development
• Promoting a strong health and safety culture across all hub activities
• Working closely with stores, distribution centres and third-party providers
• Identifying and implementing continuous improvement opportunities

This is a varied role where you'll spend time both coordinating operations and providing practical support across the hub when required.

Qualifications

We're looking for someone who enjoys working with people, thrives in a busy operational environment and has a strong focus on customer outcomes.

To be successful in this role, you'll ideally have:

• Previous experience in a leadership, supervisory or team coordination role
• Experience within logistics, warehousing, retail, transport, fulfilment or a similar operational environment
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities
• Experience coordinating teams, workloads or delivery activities
• A proactive approach to problem solving and decision making
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
• Confidence using Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word and Excel
• Experience maintaining operational, inventory or customer records
• A sound understanding of workplace Health & Safety practices
• The ability to work effectively in a hands-on environment
• A full New Zealand Driver Licence

It would be a bonus if you have experience with delivery operations, route planning, inventory systems, fleet management or home delivery services.
