Qualifications

• Degree in Town and Regional Planning or a related field.

• Knowledge of South African planning legislation and land use management systems.
• Experience in processing development applications is advantageous.
• Strong analytical, report-writing and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Review and assess architectural and development applications for compliance with zoning schemes and planning policies.
• Provide guidance and support to architects, developers, and the public on planning regulations and processes.
• Prepare reports and recommendations for planning committees and decision-making bodies.
• Conduct site inspections and spatial analysis for proposed developments.
• Contribute to the development and review of local spatial development frameworks.
