Job summary

CORDE in Timaru (South Canterbury) is seeking a qualified Arborist to join our Timaru crew reporting to the Foreman. This hands-on role involves tree pruning, planting and removals across South Canterbury and Mackenzie District, starting from the yard each morning and traveling to sites with a tight-knit team.

The ideal candidate holds Level 3 Arborist certification with at least two years' experience, a Full Class 1 driving license (essential) and ideally a Class 2 license.

Qualifications

• Level 3 Qualified Arborist with at least two years' experience.
• Full Class 1 Driver Licence (essential)
• Class 2 Driver Licence (desirable)
• Solid understanding of arboricultural principles, including planting, pruning and removals
• Confident with hand tools and chippers, competent at height, and sound with knots

Responsibilities

• Prune, plant and remove trees to a high standard.
• Work across South Canterbury and Mackenzie District as part of a tight-knit team.

The role will include tree pruning, planting and tree removals, all carried out safely and to a high standard. No paperwork. No supervisory headaches. Turn up, do good work, get home safe.

• Level 3 Qualified Arborist with at least two years' experience
• Full Class 1 Driver Licence (essential)
