Job summary

Gallagher in Hamilton, New Zealand is seeking an Accounts Receivable Controller to own credit control and AR across a portfolio. You’ll manage customer accounts, chase payments and limit risk while building strong relationships with customers and internal teams.

You’ll work with NZ and offshore Finance, Sales Order Management and Customer Service to streamline processes, improve efficiency and support business growth in a global company that values development and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Experience in Accounts Receivable, Credit Control or a similar role.
• Strong Excel and ERP experience (SAP preferred).
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
• Confident, professional communication with customers and internal teams.

Responsibilities

• Own credit control, collections and debtor management across portfolio.
• Manage customer receipts, reconciliations and account queries.
• Monitor overdue accounts, credit limits and debt exposure.
• Prepare debtor reporting, cashflow forecasting and insights for decisions.
• Assess new customer credit applications and manage credit risk.
