Pumpspec Ltd in Auckland, NZ is seeking an Apprentice Fitter to join our workshop and train toward a recognised trade qualification in mechanical engineering, learning hands-on from our skilled pump team. Real hands-on work from day one includes pulling pumps apart, rebuilding and testing, plus occasional on-site installations.

Responsibilities

• Pull pumps apart and diagnose faults.
• Rebuild and test pumps and motors, returning them to service.
• Gain hands-on experience with welding, machining, lathes and mills.
• Support on-site pump installations and hands-on field work.
