Motion Motion in New Zealand is seeking a self-motivated Mechanical Power Transmission Application Engineer to join our team in Wiri. The role suits a graduate engineer or someone with relevant experience, with varied projects across diverse industrial sectors.

You will support customers and sales, perform design calculations, and build strong relationships within our network of suppliers and partners. A practical, proactive approach and good English communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Formal Technical Qualification – BEng (Mech) or NDE Mech.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical assistance for mechanical power transmission products to customers and sales teams.
• Design calculations and product recommendations for internal and external customers.
• Build and maintain relationships with the sales network.
• Support development of relationships with global suppliers.
• Prepare product assessments and fault/failure reports.
• Share knowledge with the team and learn from experienced colleagues.
