Qualifications

• 3 years mechanical engineering experience.
• Mechanical Engineering degree or equivalent.
• Experience with mechanical design and engineering documentation.
• Strong understanding of engineering principles and standards.
• Experience working within multidisciplinary project teams.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop mechanical systems and equipment.
• Prepare engineering calculations, drawings, specifications, and documentation.
• Support projects from concept through to delivery.
• Work closely with electrical, structural, and project engineering teams.
• Liaise with clients, contractors, and suppliers.
• Support site inspections, testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting.
• Ensure designs meet relevant New Zealand standards and regulations.
