Job summary

The Warehouse Group is seeking an Apparel Manager for the Takanini store. You will lead the Clothing, Footwear and Accessories department, ensuring customers find what they want and when they want it, while driving sales and maintaining brand standards.

You will report to the Store Manager, coach and develop your team, manage stock presentation, and uphold safety and audit requirements. Click & Collect accuracy and on-time performance are essential, with occasional store-wide leadership duties.

Qualifications

• Leadership experience, whether in retail or another team environment.
• Drive, urgency and a can-do attitude.
• Ability to turn a plan into action and follow it through.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Comfort reviewing sales numbers and making decisions based on them.
• Willingness to roll up sleeves and support the team where needed.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and develop the team with a focus on building future leaders.
• Apply visual merchandising guides to keep the department sharp and on-brand.
• Keep stock presented and available, with correct sizes on shelf.
• Review weekly sales and profit performance and hit targets.
• Foster a sales-focused culture through regular coaching and feedback.
• Keep stockroom organized for quick access and restocking.
• Ensure Click & Collect orders are picked accurately and on time.
• Support a safe environment and maintain audit standards.
• Assist with store opening/closing and occasionally lead the whole store.
