The Warehouse Group in Dunedin seeks an Apparel Manager to lead the Clothing, Footwear and Accessories department, ensuring customers find what they want when they want it.

You will coach your team, apply brand guidelines and manage stock presentation, with a focus on hitting sales targets while maintaining store standards.

Formación

• Leadership experience in retail or team environments.
• Drive, urgency and a can-do attitude.
• Ability to turn plans into action and follow through.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Comfort reviewing sales numbers and making decisions based on them.
• Willingness to roll up sleeves and support your team wherever needed.
• Experience in fashion, footwear or visual merchandising is a bonus.

Responsabilidades

• Lead, coach and develop your team, with focus on building future leaders.
• Apply visual merchandising guides to keep the department on-brand.
• Keep stock well presented and available, including right sizes on the shelf.
• Review sales and profit performance weekly and adjust your approach to hit targets.
• Build a sales-focused culture through regular coaching and feedback.
• Keep the stockroom organized for fast restocking.
• Ensure Click & Collect orders are picked accurately and on time.
• Support a safe working environment and help maintain audit standards.
• Pitch in with store opening/closing and occasionally take charge of the store.

Job Description

Hours of work:

• Sunday - 7am - 4:30pm
• Monday - 11am - 8:30pm
• Tuesday - 5:45am - 3:15pm
• Thursday - 7am - 4:30pm

As our Apparel Manager, you'll lead the Clothing, Footwear, and Accessories department, making sure customers can find what they want, when they want it.

Reporting to the Store Manager, you'll:

• Lead, coach and develop your team, with a clear focus on building future leaders
• Apply visual merchandising guides to keep the department looking sharp and on-brand
• Keep stock well presented and available, including making sure the right sizes are on the shelf
• Review sales and profit performance weekly and adjust your approach to hit targets
• Build a sales-focused culture through regular coaching and feedback
• Keep the stockroom organised so your team can find and restock items quickly
• Make sure Click & Collect orders are picked accurately and on time
• Support a safe working environment and help maintain audit standards
• Pitch in with store opening and closing, and occasionally take charge of the whole store

Some days you'll be setting up next season's range, other days you're coaching a team member, digging into sales numbers, or sorting a stock issue before the doors open. It's a role that keeps you on your toes.
