Job summary

The Warehouse is seeking an Apparel Manager for our store in Takanini. You will lead the Clothing, Footwear and Accessories department, coaching a team to deliver great customer experiences, while applying visual merchandising and ensuring stock availability.

Reporting to the Store Manager, you’ll use sales data to hit targets, foster a high-performing culture, and support safe operations. Valid NZ work rights required.

Qualifications

• Leadership experience in retail or team environments.
• Drive, urgency and a can-do attitude.
• Ability to translate plans into action and follow through.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Comfort reviewing sales numbers and making data-driven decisions.
• Willingness to support the team wherever needed.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and develop the team with a focus on future leaders.
• Apply visual merchandising guides to keep the department sharp and on-brand.
• Keep stock presented and available, ensuring right sizes on shelf.
• Review weekly sales and profit performance and adjust strategy to hit targets.
• Foster a sales-focused culture through coaching and feedback.
• Keep stockroom organized for quick restocking.
• Ensure Click & Collect orders are picked accurately and on time.
• Support a safe working environment and audit standards.
• Assist with store opening/closing and occasionally oversee the store.
