Job summary

Bluecurrent is actively shaping New Zealand and Australia’s energy future by delivering smart metering and digital solutions. We seek an AMI Comms Admin who will keep the smart metering network connected and efficient, collaborating with internal teams, retailers, and external partners to turn insights into practical actions.

You will monitor and resolve advanced meter communication issues, provide timely responses to queries, and contribute to process improvements that enhance customer outcomes

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service or a similar customer-focused environment.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent attention to detail, organisational and problem solving skills.
• Confidence using standard computer applications and systems.
• Experience with SQL is preferred but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Investigate and resolve advanced meter communication issues within agreed service levels and business rules.
• Provide timely, accurate responses to internal and external customer queries.
• Identify communication faults, recommend practical solutions and help minimise non-compliance risk.
• Prepare and maintain communication fault reports that highlight trends, recurring issues and emerging risks.
• Support quality assurance activities and ensure adherence to established processes and documentation.
• Build strong working relationships with internal and external partners through collaboration and regular engagement.
