Job summary

Steel & Tube Holdings Ltd in Auckland is seeking a Logistics Coordinator for AM shift at the East Tamaki distribution centre. You will open the site, assist drivers, coordinate outbound transport, and manage PODs and paperwork to ensure on-time deliveries.

The role focuses on planning, organisation, and clear communication across warehouse, dispatch, drivers, and customers, with a safety-first approach and a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• Full Class 5 licence with clean driving history (essential).
• Endorsed counterbalance forklift licence (2.5T–5T) is an advantage.
• Gantry crane experience is highly desirable.
• Strong dispatch/logistics coordination or similar experience.
• Excellent organisational and communication skills.
• Physically fit with a proactive, safety-first mindset.

Responsibilities

• Open the site each morning, ensuring security and safety standards are met.
• Support early drivers with tie-downs and departures.
• Coordinate outwards transport runs.
• Prepare paperwork, monitor deliveries via E-road and chase PODs.
• Handle customer collections at the front counter until mid-morning.
