Job summary

AB Equipment is seeking a Parts & Service Coordinator – GSE in Christchurch. You will coordinate service jobs, support technicians, manage parts and keep customers informed throughout the process.

With a history dating back to 1878, AB Equipment delivers world-class material handling and heavy machinery services in NZ. This role is based at Christchurch Airport in a busy, airport environment offering ongoing training and career development.

Qualifications

• Leadership experience leading teams and workflows.
• Strong technical background in construction, materials handling, transport or heavy machinery.
• Service technician and/or workshop management experience with parts and inventory knowledge.
• Highly organised, customer-focused and driven to deliver service results.
• Qualified heavy diesel mechanic preferred with current licences and Health & Safety awareness.

• Strong coordination, administration and organisational skills
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Experience in a service, parts, workshop or automotive environment is preferred
• Good understanding of parts, inventory and service processes
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and keep jobs moving
• A practical, solutions-focused approach with great attention to detail
• Full driver's licence and a strong commitment to Health & Safety
