Job summary

Canstaff in Christchurch is seeking an experienced Access Equipment Service & Repair Technician to join our team. You will service, maintain and repair scissor lifts, knuckle booms, cherry pickers, forklifts, and both electric and diesel-powered machinery.

We are looking for someone with strong fault-finding ability and proven experience working on access equipment. This permanent full-time role offers high rates depending on experience and a strong pipeline of work.

Qualifications

• Experience with access equipment essential.
• Strong hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical knowledge.
• Ability to diagnose and repair faults efficiently.
• Reliable and safety-focused attitude.

Responsibilities

• Service, maintain and repair a range of access equipment including scissor lifts, knuckle booms, cherry pickers, forklifts, and electric/diesel machinery.
• Diagnose faults and perform fault-finding across hydraulic, electrical and mechanical systems.
• Ensure equipment is safe, compliant and ready for operation.
