Job summary

PwC New Zealand is seeking an AI Risk Business Partner to help our people navigate evolving AI risk, policies and governance. You will translate requirements into practical guidance across Lines of Service, engagement teams and internal functions.

This is a highly collaborative role that builds responsible AI capability, coordinates across Technology Risk, Legal, Privacy and Data, and helps embed responsible AI into the way we work.

Qualifications

• Experience in risk, governance, technology, compliance or regulated environments.
• Ability to translate complex AI policies, risks or technical concepts into clear, practical guidance.
• Strong written and verbal communication and stakeholder engagement skills.

Responsibilities

• Partner with business leaders and teams to understand AI usage and provide practical risk advice.
• Translate AI policies and governance requirements into clear guidance for users.
• Advise teams on responsible AI use, including human oversight and escalation requirements.
• Coordinate AI risk matters across Technology Risk, Legal, Privacy, Independence, Cyber, Data and Risk & Quality.
• Develop practical guidance, FAQs, decision tools, scenarios and training for AI requirements.
• Facilitate briefings and workshops to build responsible AI capability across the firm.
• Identify recurring AI risks and opportunities to improve controls and guidance.
• Keep abreast of AI technology developments and translate implications for PwC New Zealand.
