Job summary

Craigs Investment Partners in Tauranga seeks an AI Designer to identify AI opportunities, design future-state processes, and work with AI Engineers to move prototypes into production. The role requires hands-on analysis, stakeholder engagement and cross-functional collaboration within a NZX-regulated environment.

You will report to the Head of Digital, Data and AI and contribute to measurable client and business value through well-defined use cases and governance.

Qualifications

• Two or more years’ experience in business analysis, process improvement, or change management.
• Experience capturing and prioritising requirements, developing business cases and documenting workflows.
• Strong stakeholder engagement, facilitation and communication across business and technical audiences.
• Experience working with cross-functional teams and delivering training or change activities.
• Exposure to AI, automation or digital transformation initiatives.
• Commitment to quality, including testing, documentation and benefits tracking.
• Knowledge of financial services or wealth technology.
• A relevant tertiary qualification in business analysis, process design or change management; AI-related learning is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Identify and prioritise AI opportunities across Craigs.
• Maintain a structured use case register and prioritise by value and feasibility.
• Map current processes and design future-state workflows with AI capabilities.
• Partner with AI Engineers to support prototyping and testing.
• Present demonstrations and production-readiness recommendations to programme leaders.
• Develop training and communication materials to support end-user adoption.
• Define success measures and track benefits after deployment.
