Job summary

Jora New Zealand is seeking a dynamic AI Delivery Consultant to join a ground-floor team deploying Voice AI and automation at scale. You will work with clients to scope problems, design architecture, and implement cutting-edge Agentic and Voice AI solutions.

The role blends strategic technology consulting with hands-on delivery, including pre-sales discovery, MCP server development in TypeScript or Python, and integration with core systems.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in technical consulting, solutions engineering, or software integration with a focus on AI, automation, or API-driven solutions.
• Hands-on AI expertise with tools like LangChain, LlamaIndex, RAG architectures, vector databases, and LLM evaluation.
• Voice AI knowledge with familiarity of platforms like ElevenLabs, Vapi, Retell AI, or similar conversational AI/telephony workflows.
• Development skills to build MCP servers and robust integrations using Python or TypeScript, REST APIs, OAuth, and webhooks.
• Infrastructure experience deploying AI workloads on GPU environments, Docker and Kubernetes; cloud experience (AWS/Azure/GCP) a bonus.
• Commercial acumen with client-facing delivery, managed services, or consulting, including AI governance and privacy (NZ Privacy Act).

Responsibilities

• Leading pre-sales discovery workshops, assessing AI feasibility, and translating business requirements into technical roadmaps.
• Building and deploying Voice AI agents, proofs-of-concept, and automation solutions tailored to client needs.
• Developing Model Context Protocol (MCP) servers to connect AI agents to core business systems.
