Job summary

Sunstone Talent in Christchurch seeks a Senior AI Software Engineer to enhance a global software product using C#.Net or C++ and JavaScript within a Scrum team.

You will work with Azure Cloud, Docker, and modern AI tooling such as LLMs; on-site in Christchurch with two days WFH and strong benefits.

Qualifications

• Degree: BSc or BEng or similar.
• 6+ years experience in C#.Net (or C++) and JavaScript.
• 1+ year commercial AI tooling / LLMs experience.
• Voice recognition AI tools are a bonus.
• Experience in Scrum/Agile with a unit testing approach.

A growing, stable client is looking for a Senior AI Software Engineer to work on enhancing exciting software product features & functionality - sound like you?

Love working with modern AI tools like Co-pilot, Claude & other Agentic AI models? LLMs?

What you’ll bring:

• BSc or BEng or similar degree
• At least 6 years C#.Net (or C++) with JavaScript
• At least 1 year+ commercial experience utilising AI tooling / LLMs to enhance software product features
• Any Voice Recognition AI tools a bonus but not necessary
• Enjoy working in a Scrum / Agile team with a Unit testing approach
• Enjoy solving complex problems & help improving an enterprise, global software product
