We're looking for a Senior Engineer with strong Python and API integration skills to join a fast-moving AI-focused engineering team at one of our clients. This is an initial 3-month contract with a strong likelihood of extension.
This role is based in Auckland (open to Wellington) or Melbourne, with a hybrid working arrangement, and we're specifically looking for candidates based in one of these two locations. You'll be working on a genuinely interesting problem, building the integration layer that enables AI agents to interact with internal systems at scale, with the team working towards resolving the majority of user requests directly through AI agents. You'll be reporting into a senior engineering leader and will need to be comfortable operating with some ambiguity as the architecture evolves. An immediate start is preferred.
You must be eligible to work in New Zealand to be considered for this opportunity.
