All Trades Contract Services is seeking multiple Tractor Service Technicians to join our client’s team, servicing tractors and agricultural machinery across Northland. Based in Whangārei with field service work, you will diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical and hydraulic faults, perform maintenance, and ensure safety and quality on each job.

• Ability to independently diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical and hydraulic systems.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.

Responsabilidades

• Carry out servicing, preventative maintenance and repairs on tractors, agricultural machinery and equipment.
• Occasional travel to other regions and branches to provide field service support and assist with operational workloads.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical and hydraulic faults.
• Undertake engine, transmission and hydraulic system repairs and maintenance.
• Respond to field service requirements and attend customer sites as required.
• Communicate professionally with customers regarding faults, repairs and maintenance requirements.
• Work independently and manage assigned service tasks with minimal supervision.
• Complete repairs and servicing in accordance with manufacturer specifications and workplace health and safety requirements.
• Prepare and submit accurate service reports detailing work completed, faults identified, diagnostic findings and recommended repairs.
• Maintain accurate job records, including labour hours, parts used, maintenance activities and repair outcomes.
• Document machinery faults, diagnostic results and any outstanding work requiring further attention.
• Provide timely updates to management and customers regarding job progress, repair requirements and completion status.
• Complete all required service documentation and administrative reporting within specified timeframes.
• Identify additional repair or maintenance requirements and communicate these to customers.
• Maintain a professional approach when representing the business at customer sites.
• Minimum of three years' relevant mechanical experience with Tractors.
• Ability to independently diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical and hydraulic systems.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.

The role involves diagnosing and resolving mechanical, electrical and hydraulic faults across tractors & agricultural machinery, including engines, transmissions and associated systems.

About the role

• Permanent, full time position.
• Minimum guranteed 30 hours per week.
• Starting wage of $34.00 per hour.
• Based in Whangarei with field service work throughout Northland.
