Job summary

Norwood in Timaru is seeking an Agricultural Field Service Technician to service, diagnose, and repair tractors and heavy machinery from leading brands. You will work with world‑class equipment and be supported by our Technical Support Specialists and training centre in Palmerston North.

Expect a 40‑hour week (Mon–Fri 8am–5pm) with a rostering on-call component, a competitive hourly rate with overtime and a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance and tool allowance.

Qualifications

• Heavy machinery repairs experience required.
• Experience with agricultural machinery preferred.
• Strong diagnosis and repair skills.
• Proficiency with OEM diagnostic tools.
• Excellent customer service and communication.

Responsibilities

• Carry out servicing, diagnostics, and repairs on machinery.
• Communicate with customers and set expectations.
• Collaborate with parts, sales, service teams.
