Job summary

Power Farming in Te Awamutu is seeking an experienced Service Technician to join our team. The role involves diagnosing and repairing agricultural tractors and machinery, with a focus on customer satisfaction and high-quality service.

You will need a qualification in automotive heavy engineering or diesel mechanics, strong diagnostic skills, and a full driver’s licence. Expect 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm, with paid overtime and a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• Qualification in automotive heavy engineering or diesel mechanic.
• Excellent diagnostics and understanding of electronics and hydraulics.
• Full Driver’s license required.
• Background in diagnostics and repair of agricultural tractors and machinery.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair agricultural tractors and machinery.
• Interact with customers and manage expectations.
• Perform servicing and maintenance as required.
