Job summary

Gallagher is seeking an experienced Warehouse Lead to drive the afternoon shift (3:00pm – 11:30pm) at our Hamilton site. You will coordinate workload, manage inventory movements and ensure safety and compliance across distribution and production stores.

You will coach and develop the team, collaborate with production, supply chain and logistics, and drive continuous improvement to meet daily targets.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in warehouse management and team leadership.
• Strong knowledge of inventory control and safety standards.
• Experience with warehouse management systems; SAP WMS preferred.
• Excellent communication, organization and time-management skills.
• Ability to lead change and drive continuous improvement.

• Lead afternoon shift operations, coordinating workload and labour allocation to achieve daily targets.
• Monitor workflow and proactively manage changing priorities and production requirements.
• Coach and develop team members, fostering a safe, engaged and high-performing culture.
• Champion Health & Safety, quality and compliance across all warehouse activities.
• Maintain inventory accuracy through replenishment, stock movements and cycle counts.
• Collaborate with Production, Supply Chain, Logistics and partners to ensure timely operations.

We’re looking for an experienced Warehouse Lead to drive our Distribution and Production Stores operations on ourafternoon shift – working 3:00pm – 11:30pm.

Reporting to the Warehouse Manager, you’ll coordinate people, priorities and inventory to ensure outbound distribution, production supply, replenishment and inventory movements are completed safely, accurately and on time.

What you’ll do

Lead afternoon shift operations, coordinating workload and labour allocation to achieve daily targets.

Monitor workflow and proactively manage changing priorities, production requirements and operational issues.

Lead, coach and develop team members, creating a safe, engaged and high-performing culture.

Champion Health & Safety, quality and compliance across all warehouse activities.

Maintain inventory accuracy through effective replenishment, stock movements, cycle counts and investigations.

Identify opportunities to improve productivity, processes, accuracy and service levels.

Collaborate with Production, Supply Chain, Logistics, Warehouse leadership, suppliers and freight partners.

You’ll help create a warehouse operation where people are engaged, inventory is accurate, production has what it needs, and every shift delivers safely and efficiently

What you’ll bring

Proven experience in warehouse management, team leadership or a similar operational role.

Relevant qualification in Supply Chain, Business or a related field.

Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory control and safety standards.

Experience with warehouse management systems; 5+ years’ SAP WMS experience preferred.

Strong analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills.

Excellent communication, organisation and time-management skills.

Ability to lead change, manage competing priorities and drive continuous improvement.
