Coatesville Primary School is seeking an enthusiastic Assistant Programme Manager for the sKids after-school programme. You will support day-to-day operations, lead sessions in the Programme Manager's absence, and build strong relationships with staff and families to deliver a safe, engaging, and educational experience for children.

The role involves helping with homework support, planning activities, and mentoring junior assistants while fostering a positive environment where children feel

Competenze

• Experience working with groups of children in child-care, OSCAR, or school programs.
• Ability to step into leadership role when required and use initiative.

Mansioni

• Support the Programme Manager in day-to-day running of the sKids programme.
• Act as the programme's Second-in-Charge (2IC) when the Programme Manager is away.
• Build positive relationships with school staff and parents.
• Assist children with homework and learning activities.
• Supervise and engage groups to create a safe, inclusive and enjoyable programme.
• Plan and deliver structured activities (arts, crafts, sports, games, events).
• Support children to develop confidence, resilience and social skills.
• Use positive behaviour guidance to manage situations and maintain a respectful culture.
• Support and mentor Programme Assistants on shift to ensure smooth operations.
• Communicate effectively with children, parents, caregivers and school staff.
