Job summary

Diocesan School for Girls in Auckland seeks an After-School Care Programme Supervisor to lead the after-school programme for Junior School. This fixed-term, part-time role runs 2.00pm–6.00pm, Monday to Friday, during school terms, starting Term 1 2027 with some handover this year.

You will supervise staff and volunteers, manage enrolments and attendance, and ensure a safe, welcoming environment for the girls and families.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children and caring for their well-being.
• Ability to lead a group of tutors and volunteers.
• Strong communication with parents and staff.
• Good planning and admin skills.
• A qualification in education is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and supervise the after-school programme from opening until all girls are collected.
• Lead and support senior school tutors and student volunteers.
• Manage enrolments, attendance and related admin; maintain contact with parents and staff.
• Keep the programme safe, organised and engaging.
• Bring a positive, proactive and inclusive mindset to every afternoon.
