Job summary

Healthvision NZ in Hamilton, Waikato, is seeking a proactive After-Hours Coordinator for a permanent part-time role. You will be the first point of contact after hours, supporting staff, service users, and stakeholders with professional, timely responses and practical solutions to maintain continuity of care.

This hybrid, 35-hour-per-week position may involve mornings, evenings, weekends, and public holidays.

Qualifications

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and take initiative.
• Calm and composed under pressure in fast-paced environments.
• Experience in call centre or administrative background preferred but not essential.
• Willingness to work flexible hours including weekends/public holidays.

Responsibilities

• Provide after-hours support to service users.
• Manage after-hours queries via voicemail, email, and staff.
• Record and maintain service user information.
• Report to line manager weekly or as requested.
• Work on public holidays.
• Promote professional environment with team and customers.
• Coordinate appropriate support to ensure continuity of care.
• Contribute to a collaborative team culture.
