Job summary

Health New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora in Christchurch is seeking a Clinical Team Coordinator to join the After-hours Nursing Team at Christchurch Health Campus. You will assess and coordinate patient care, allocating medical resources across afterhours, weekends, and public holidays to ensure high-quality outcomes.

Qualifications

• 5+ years acute medical or surgical experience.
• Postgraduate qualification in Health Assessment or progress toward.
• Ability to build positive relationships across the acute clinical setting.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Highly organised and self-motivated to lead in a busy after-hours role.
• Senior Registered Nurse with current NZ Nursing Council APC.

Responsibilities

• Assess and ensure optimum patient care by allocating medical and clinical resources after hours.
• Provide senior nursing leadership during after-hours, weekends and public holidays.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality patient care.
