Job description

Jora New Zealand will close on 9th September 2026. Thank you for being with us, we are cheering you on as you continue your career journey.

We're looking for an enthusiastic and organisedAdministrator to join our Wool team in Napier.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone early in their career, a recent graduate, or an administrator looking to take the next step. If you're keen to learn, enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, have a great eye for detail, and love being part of a dynamic team, we'd love to hear from you.

Working at the heart of New Zealand's wool industry, you'll support customers, Wool Representatives, logistics teams and industry partners, helping to keep sales, auctions and reporting running smoothly.

No previous wool industry experience? That's okay. An interest in, or connection to, New Zealand's rural sector would be an advantage. We're looking for someone with a positive attitude, strong organisational skills, excellent attention to detail, and a genuine willingness to learn and grow within a supportive team environment.

What you'll be doing:

  • Supporting wool sale and auction administration from preparation through to completion
  • Processing sales transactions, invoicing and reporting
  • Assisting customers and Wool Representatives with enquiries and documentation
  • Maintaining accurate records and supplier information
  • Building strong relationships across the business and wider industry
  • Providing administration support to a busy and collaborative team.

What you'll bring:

  • Previous administration, customer service, retail, hospitality or sales support experience, or a relevant qualification
  • Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills
  • A positive, can-do attitude and eagerness to learn
  • Confidence communicating with a wide range of people
  • The ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities
  • Good Microsoft Office skills and confidence learning new systems
  • An interest in New Zealand's rural sector would be an advantage.

This is more than an administration role. It's an opportunity to build a career within a well established New Zealand business and gain exposure to a unique and important part of the rural sector.

You’ll receive training, support and mentoring from an experienced team while developing valuable skills in administration, customer service, logistics, reporting and stakeholder management.

If you’re motivated, detail focused and looking for a role where you can learn, grow and make a genuine contribution, we’d love to hear from you.
