About the Role: Support Net provides Needs Assessment and Service Coordination Services (NASC) across the Bay of Plenty and Lakes disctricts for people in the community with disabilities, long-term chronic health conditions and older people. We are looking for a highly organised and efficient administrator to join the team that supports our Health of Older Persons (HOP) and Long Term Services - Chronic Health Conditions (LTS-CHC) NASC (Monday to Friday) 40 hours a week. If you are a motivated, enthusiastic person with excellent people and administrative skills, we would love to hear from you! You will work closely alongside a team of assessors and other administrative staff. This position will involve a variety of administrative work and the successful applicant will need to be adaptable to new challenges and an ever-changing organisational landscape. Relevant experience within a hospital environment and strong data entry skills is desirable.
About the Team/Service/Location: Support Net is part of the Regional Community team based in Tauranga. The Health of Older People team works in collaboration with kaumātua, whānau, community providers and other health professionals to ensure safe, effective care plans are in place.
About you: The successful applicant must have excellent customer service and communication skills. The ability to work within an open-plan office and team environment is essential. Well-developed computer skills, high attention to detail and outstanding time management skills are key requirements. You will enjoy dealing with people, as your duties will include daily face-to-face and telephone communications. The successful applicant will have the ability to work well under pressure, maintain professionalism, have a positive and flexible attitude and a good sense of humour!
