Waitematā District Surgical Pathology Unit provides the histology and cytology services to both North Shore and Waitakere Hospital campuses as well as providing pathology services to BreastScreen Waitemata Northland and BreastScreen Auckland. We are seeking a highly motivated Administrator to join our administration team, working in a job share situation Wednesday 2pm to 6pm, Thursday and Friday 9.30am to 6pm.
As an administration support team member, you will provide admin support to twelve anatomical pathologists who report on approximately 56,000 specimens from 30,000 patients per year from a wide range of specialities.
This is a band 4 role under the PSA National Health Administrations Workers collective agreement.
Health New Zealand Waitematā provides health services to approximately 650,000 residents of the North Shore, Waitakere, and Rodney areas. It has the largest population of any district health area.
