Ryman Healthcare in Remuera, Auckland is seeking a part-time Activity and Lifestyle Assistant to deliver a program of recreational, diversional and social activities for residents in independent living. The role runs Saturdays and Sundays 09:30 to 18:00 within a friendly, supportive team.

We offer a weekend uplift of $2.50 per hour, ongoing training and development opportunities, and a rostered, fixed schedule in a beautiful village environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in aged care is preferred but not essential.
• Strong empathy and caring nature.
• Reliable, friendly and professional demeanor.

Responsibilities

• Deliver a program of recreational, diversional, and social activities for residents.

About the Role

We have an exciting opportunity to join our supportive team at Edmund Hillary Retirement Village in Remuera, Auckland as an Activity and Lifestyle Assistant for independent living. This is aPart Timeposition working Saturday and Sunday 0930 to 1800.

In this role you will:

• Deliver a program of recreational, diversional, and social and craft activities for residents
• Promote happiness, wellbeing and quality of life for all residents
• Work closely with, and support your colleagues
