Job summary

Ryman is seeking an Activity and Lifestyle Coordinator at Ernest Rutherford Retirement Village in Stoke, Nelson. This full-time role runs Tuesday to Saturday, 9:30am–4:30pm, and requires a full driving license with comfortable use of a manual van.

You will plan and deliver recreational, social and craft activities to enhance residents' happiness and wellbeing, work closely with colleagues, and contribute to a supportive, inclusive village culture.

Qualifications

• Experience planning and delivering activities for older adults.
• Ability to adapt activities to evolving resident needs.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

About The Role

We have an exciting opportunity to join our supportive team at Ernest Rutherford Retirement Village in Stoke, Nelson as an Activity and Lifestyle Coordinator. This is a Full Time position working Tuesday to Saturday 0930-1630.

For this position you will need to have a full drivers license and be comfortable driving a manual van.

• Plan and implement a programme of recreational, diversional, social and craft activities for residents
• Promote happiness, wellbeing and quality of life for all residents
• Work closely with, and support your colleagues
