Bupa Parklands Care Home in Papanui, Christchurch, is seeking an experienced Activities Coordinator for a permanent full-time role. Bupa Parklands Care Home in Papanui is a well-established 127-bed care home providing rest home, hospital, and psychogeriatric care, creating a varied and rewarding environment for an experienced activities professional. We're looking for an Activities Coordinator to join the team on a permanent full-time basis working 32 hours per week on a six-week rotating roster, 4 shifts on 2 shifts off, from 10:30am to 4:30pm.
This role requires someone who can confidently coordinate engaging activities, adapt programmes to suit residents with differing care needs, build strong relationships across the care home, and take ownership of creating meaningful daily experiences. You'll work with residents across multiple levels of care, giving you the opportunity to deliver activities that support both wellbeing and social connection.
