Oceania Group is seeking an Activities Assistant for Wharerangi Village in Taupō. The role involves working with a Diversional Therapist to plan and deliver engaging activities for our residents, tailored to their needs and abilities.
You will support residents, encourage participation, and help maintain a safe, friendly environment in line with company policies. Weekend work is required and NZ working rights are mandatory.

Our Wharerangi Village in Taupō are looking for a full-time Activities Assistant to join their dedicated team.
What you’ll be doing:
Working closely with our Diversional Therapist to create and implement fun and varied activities programmesfor our residents
Understanding residents’ needs and abilitiesand encouraging them to take part in activities
Following our company policies and procedures to create a safe environment for our residents.
What you’ll bring:
Previous experience in planning and coordinating activities
Great people skills with empathy for the elderly
Excellent communication and IT skills
A vibrant and energetic personality
The ability to workin the weekends.
