Job summary

Oceania's Wharerangi Village in Taupō is seeking a full-time Activities Assistant to join our dedicated team. You will work closely with our Diversional Therapist to create and implement varied activities programmes for our residents.

You will assess residents' needs, encourage participation, and follow our policies to ensure a safe, caring environment. Experience planning activities, strong communication with empathy for the elderly, and weekend availability are required; New Zealand working

Our Wharerangi Village in Taupō are looking for a full-time Activities Assistant to join their dedicated team.

What you'll be doing:

Working closely with our Diversional Therapist to create and implement fun and varied activities programmesfor our residents

Understanding residents' needs and abilitiesand encouraging them to take part in activities

Following our company policies and procedures to create a safe environment for our residents.

What you'll bring:

Previous experience in planning and coordinating activities

Great people skills with empathy for the elderly

Excellent communication and IT skills

A vibrant and energetic personality

The ability to workin the weekends.
