Applied Industrial Technologies is seeking a motivated Accounts Officer on a casual basis in Auckland. The role offers a minimum of 2 days per week with potential for additional hours and future permanent opportunities.

You will manage AP/AR, processing invoices, reconciling statements, and supporting the finance team. Strong Excel skills, accuracy, and customer service orientation are essential.

• Processing supplier invoices and ensuring timely payments

• Reconciling supplier statements and resolving discrepancies

• Processing customer receipts and allocating payments

• Following up outstanding accounts and responding to customer queries

• Maintaining accurate Accounts Payable and Receivable records

• Assisting with reconciliations and month end processes

• Providing general support to the Finance team as required

A little bit about you:

• Previous experience in both Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable is essential

• Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy

• Good organisational and time management skills

• A proactive approach with the ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Good communication skills and a strong customer service focus

• Competent computer skills, particularly Microsoft Excel

• Flexibility to work additional hours when required
