Job summary

Applied Industrial Technologies is seeking a motivated Accounts Officer on a casual basis in Auckland. The role offers a minimum of 2 days per week with potential for additional hours and future permanent opportunities.

You will manage AP/AR, processing invoices, reconciling statements, and supporting the finance team. Strong Excel skills, accuracy, and customer service orientation are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience handling both AP and AR is essential.
• Strong numeric and data accuracy skills.
• Proficient in Excel and problem solving.
• Able to manage deadlines with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Process supplier invoices and ensure timely payments.
• Reconcile supplier statements and resolve discrepancies.
• Process customer receipts and allocate payments.
• Follow up on outstanding accounts and respond to queries.
• Maintain accurate AP/AR records and assist with month-end.
• Provide general finance team support as required.
